Meet indi, she is an American staffy who is approximately 2 years old. Indi is a delightful girl who just wants to please you and be near you.
Indi came to us a very nervous dog but with the help of her foster family she has come so far and has learnt that humans can offer love and kindness. Indi will need gentle but firm guidance for this reason to let her know what is expected of her.
Indi has had no formal training but is learning to sit and drop, learning to wait outside an open door until she is invited in and she is learning to walk on a leash without pulling. Indi absolutely LOVES her daily walks and runs but needs to stay on lead.
Indi is learning new experiences every day, is making progress and is beginning to share a little better. However, for this reason we recommend that Indi go to an only dog home.
Indi sleeps in her crate at night surrounded by her doona and loves to snuggle in. She would love to hop in bed with you for morning snuggles in fact she would be very happy if she could spend the night there too and even likes to get under the covers. Indi really enjoys a snuggle on the couch and has learnt that she needs to wait for an invite but there are occasions where she'll try to sneak up. She has not shown any food aggression whatsoever and will happily have a pat during dinner time.
Indi seems very relaxed around older children and will happily sit on her bed with her head on their knee while they sit and pat her. She loves just following them around to see what they're up to. She has been living with a 7 month old baby and absolutely adores him.
Indi is a beautiful, gentle soul and needs a family where she can be a huge part of your lives, be allowed inside with you and loved. She has had a rough life and really just wants to please you and be you’re everything. If you have a special spot in your lives to love and pamper this girl then she will return it with a world of love and snuggles.
